Fan B (Bypass) from the NASA Quiet Engine Program

This fan map is found in the NASA contractor report CR-2519, figure 17. Use this map together with the Fan B (Core) map from figure 18. 

About this fan

This fan was a full-scale, single-stage experimental fan developed in the early 1970s under NASA's Experimental Quiet Engine Program. The program aimed to integrate high-bypass-ratio engine technology and noise-reduction techniques to significantly lower noise emissions on subsonic civil transport aircraft.
